Using this website

The content of this website — text, logo, wordmark, graphics and code — belongs to AIREM unless stated otherwise. You may read it, link to it and quote it with attribution. The website is provided as it is; we work to keep the information correct and current, but we cannot guarantee that it is free of errors.

Membership

• Membership begins once your application has been reviewed and approved. We normally review applications within three business days.
• Membership is personal and cannot be transferred. Institutional membership covers the members named by the organization.
• Fees are shown on the membership page and are charged per year.
• Students who join before 31 December 2026 receive their first six months free. After that, the standard student fee applies.
• Membership renews yearly. You may cancel at any time; membership then runs until the end of the paid period.
• We may decline or end a membership if an application is inaccurate or if the code of conduct below is broken.

Code of conduct

AIREM brings together people from many countries, disciplines and backgrounds. Everyone taking part in our events, working groups and online spaces agrees to:

• Treat others with respect, in person and online.
• Keep discussion professional and focused on the work.
• Avoid harassment, discrimination and personal attacks of any kind.
• Respect the intellectual property and unpublished work of others.
• Declare conflicts of interest when reviewing work or taking part in decisions.

If someone breaks these rules, report it to info@airem.org. Reports are handled confidentially by the board. Depending on what happened, the response may be a warning, removal from an event or working group, or the end of membership without refund.

Events

Event dates, formats and prices may change. If we cancel an event, registration fees are refunded. Recordings and materials from our events are for members and participants, and should not be republished without permission.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continuing to use the website or your membership after a change means you accept the updated terms.
