Who can become a member of AIREM?
Anyone interested in applying artificial intelligence to energy or mechanical engineering — students, researchers, engineers, industry professionals and organizations — is welcome to apply.
Is student membership really free right now?
Yes. Students who join before December 31, 2026 receive 6 months of free Student membership. When the free period ends, the standard student fee of $25 per year applies, and we'll remind you before that happens. Professional and Institutional plans are paid from the start.
How long does the application review take?
Most applications are reviewed within three business days. You'll receive an email with your member portal access once approved.
Can my organization partner with AIREM?
Yes. Institutional membership includes partnership benefits, and we also offer event sponsorship and joint research programs. Choose "Partnership & sponsorship" in the form above.
Do you offer student discounts or waivers?
Student membership is heavily discounted, and a limited number of fee waivers are available for students from low-income countries each year.
How can I become an AIREM representative?
Representatives are active members who represent AIREM at their university, region or company. Send us a message with the topic "General question", tell us where you would like to represent AIREM, and our board will get in touch.
How can I speak at an AIREM event?
We open calls for speakers and papers ahead of each summit and workshop. Members are notified first — or contact us with your proposed topic.
